Size L is too small for a 29 kg mixed breed dog. Better to go with XL or even XXL.

They stick very well; if they have long hair on their paws, you need to trim it and make sure the pads are dry and clean. They stick well and on my dog they last between 2-7 days depending on activity and whether they have gotten wet. You do need to monitor the pads because if they are on for too long, sometimes when you remove them, a superficial part of the pad can come off. Let the paw rest for a few days and then put a new one on.
